I started playing LOTD in early 2006. My name was jambi, later jambi PK. Yes, I am one of the original members of the long-forgotten PK clan. Played DM, CTF and Invasion, but mostly Invasion.

I remember...

Playing DMDOWNTOWN on the NETOPIA server.

When infection, and later, LMS were only sparkles in the eyes of the fans who created them.

The first running zombies...INDOTD2004, still my favorite map.

When Friendly Fire was enabled on all UG servers.

When INTRINDAY101 first hit the servers. It was the hottest, most advanced map of its day.

The awesome Invasion maps created by Trin, GRIMUG, Lousy, and the King of Kings Burt Reynolds.

Scoring 1500 kills on Lockdown 2.

Jumping the fence on Burt Reynolds' tiny Russian forest map (name forgotten), and killing all the zeds from outside the boundary.

The Night of the Living Dead maps. Awesome!

XXenaUG and her husband Fat Mcnasty(I think), GRIM, GRIM's girlfriend michelle (one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of gaming with!), KILLER/KILLER Germany, Lousyattacker, eblade, who schooled me on how to play INTRIN101, DarkPrincess and husband, who's server I admined for awhile (remembered your name!), an 8 year old kid named Tony, the most ambitious INV player I ever encountered, and another cool kid called zamorak, Vash, sodakid(or something), hundreds of other players whose names I've forgotten.

CTF/DM scrimmages with the UG clan played on custom, modified, never to be released into official rotation maps modded by Tattoo. Does anybody even remember the painserver? Best damned INV/CTF map there was at the time.

Tattoo's departure from LOTD, sparked by some stupid, long-forgotten issue between the PKs and UGs. :(

It's hard to believe LOTD is still of interest to DEVS and modders. I don't have any of the old map packs and they don't seem to be available online any more. I found my copy of LOTD buried under a ton of junk in my closet a few days ago. Installed it and went cruising on the servers. Everything and everybody is different, but I like what I see. That molotov mod where you can rack up kills for everything killed by your fire AFTER it's thrown is just tits. I wish it had existed back in the days of Mallscholl2 and Lockdown2.

Anyway, reminiscence over. Gonna play now.

And I actually had a Liberty Head Nickel. yeah.. sounds awesome huh.
The 1913 liberty head nickel was worth 3.1 million dollars.
Unfortunately the 1910 liberty head nickel that I have is worth diddly crap..
Saw one on ebay for 7 bucks... that's a shame... that's my luck huh.

but anyway... they made 30mil+ of the 1910's liberty head nickels.
But they only made 5 of 1913's liberty head nickels.
Wow. I was just 3 years off... pfffff.... just my luck.
